Late On V-day

So on Valentines day my friend found this poem that someone had writen to his wife or something. My friend and I wrote it down because it was so damn funny. Now here it is.

Like a bank needs money
And a bee needs honey
Like a squirrel needs nuts
And a soldier needs guts
Like a dog needs his bone
And a mountain needs its stone
Like a book needs its words
And birders need birds
Like the Catholics and their pope
And a pothead and his dope
Like a fish needs the ocean
And a runner needs motion
Like a river needs its bed
An a heart needs red
Just like a candy to a baby
Or an equivocators maybe
Thats the way I need you
And Im happy that I do
You complete my life
Im so glad that [youre my] wife!
